Department Introduction


Since its establishment in 2001, the graduate school has been dedicated to cultivating professionals in the management of the leisure and sports industry, nurturing experts in leisure and sports studies, and fostering professionals in guiding and promoting recreational sports for the elderly. Through a vibrant, professional, and diverse curriculum, we provide students with various experiences and practical exercises, aiming to develop both their soft and hard skills. 

Education Objectives:

  • Cultivate professionals in the management of leisure and sports industries.

  • Foster professionals in leisure and sports research.

  • Develop talents in guiding and promoting leisure sports for the elderly.

 

Distinctive Features and Vision:

  • Collaborate with specialized faculty from our university to assist in regional leisure and sports consultation and promotion. Provide the public with leisure information and introduce relevant leisure and sports activities to enhance community vitality and development, thereby constructing a lifestyle focused on health and happiness.

  • Investigate the current status and future development of national leisure, sports, tourism, and aging industries to understand the trends in the development of the leisure sports industry.

  • Visit leisure and sports industries nationwide, seeking collaborative opportunities to provide employment opportunities for students.

  • Align with the educational objectives of our department, deeply cultivate the fields of leisure, sports, tourism, and aging, and provide students with opportunities for practical experience and internships.

  • In anticipation of the aging society, judiciously utilize the resources of our department to establish a Silver Fitness Club and a Sports Technology Demonstration Center, developing their unique characteristics.
