The Graduate School of Science and Technology Law

Department Introduction

The graduate school's distinctive feature and developmental focus lie in cultivating post-bachelor students without a legal background to engage in the study of technology law, responding to the needs of technological industry development. We emphasize technology law courses in multiple languages and aim to foster international technology law professionals. We seek to establish cooperative relationships with domestic and international organizations, government agencies, academia, and research institutions on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. This enriches the practical experience of institute students and provides avenues for government officials, professionals, and industry personnel to engage in technology law research, training, and continuing education.

  • We aim to cultivate legal professionals and scholars with a foundation in public and private law, foreign language reading abilities, proficiency in professional legal foreign languages, and knowledge in the specialized field of law. We also aim to foster students with analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to think diversely, handle issues effectively, and conduct academic research. Students have to develop skills in utilizing the internet, data retrieval, library resources, and writing professional legal theses. Students will have to cultivate the ability for integrated application research in technology law and the capability to practice law professionally. Students develop interdisciplinary application capabilities, the integration of theory and practice, regional legal awareness with an international perspective, and a sense of professional ethics and social responsibility.
  • Cultivate international professionals in technology law to meet the needs of national industrial development.
  • Promote research in emerging fields of technology law to ensure that technology law advances in tandem with technological developments.
  • Become the national center for technology law consultation and research, collaborating with industry, government, and academia.
