  • Introduction
    This graduate school was established in response to the research and further study needs of education personnel from technical and vocational schools, human resources development personnel from public and private institutions, as well as graduates from relevant groups in universities and colleges. Our goal is to cultivate highly skilled professionals in various fields of technical and vocational education and training. 

 

  • Featured development goals 
    • Educational goals of the master’s program:
      The aim is to cultivate advanced professionals in education and training across various fields such as engineering, management, design, and the humanities. This includes school teachers, researchers, corporate trainers, and educational administrators. The educational focus includes: 
      • Guide graduate students to enhance their study of theories and practices in technical and vocational education, fostering their abilities in teaching, research, and administration in the field of technical and vocational education. 
      • Guide graduate students based on their individual backgrounds and needs to strengthen their studies in specialized fields such as engineering, management, design, and the humanities. The goal is to help students enhance their specialized knowledge and skills in their respective fields. 

 

  • Educational goals of the doctoral program 
    The aim is to cultivate advanced research talents in the field of technical and vocational education and training, with a focus on enrolling working professionals. This includes in-service faculty from technical and vocational colleges, senior high schools, as well as industry professionals. We emphasize on applied research-oriented courses, and students have the option to take additional courses from other master's and doctoral programs at our university to enhance their existing specialized knowledge and skills. The educational focus includes: 
    • They should possess the ability to both plan and execute research, while also being able to explore, develop, integrate, and critically assess issues and practices related to the development of domestic and international technical and vocational education. This includes considering the contextual background, regional socio-cultural factors, and the development of local industry, technology, and economy. 
    • They should be able to apply research findings to practical work scenarios, aiming to enhance the quality and efficiency of their work. 

 

  • Distinctive Courses 
    • Specialize in digitization, industrialization, and internationalization, our graduate school emphasizes a balanced approach to theory and practice, integrating both technology and the humanities. The three key educational focuses are teaching, research, and administrative management in the realm of technical and vocational education. We strategically plan and arrange curriculum, faculty, equipment, and practical teaching to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. 
    • In the arrangement of courses and teaching, guidance for graduate theses, and collaborative research projects, our graduate school works closely with various departments and centers, including the colleges of Engineering, Management, Design, and Humanities and Applied Sciences. This collaborative approach ensures the sharing of resources and expertise.
