Department Introduction


  • Department introduction
    This department is one of the earliest established applied foreign language departments in the country, offering undergraduate, master's, and in-service master's programs. The courses are divided into two groups: "Creative Business Communication" and "English Creative Teaching."

"Cultural and Creative Business Communication" Learning Module 

The thoughts and layout of the course design are briefly described as follows: 
(1) Formulate compulsory and elective core courses based on core competencies
(2) Guide students to obtain various creative business professional certificates 
(3) Encourage students to take the Singularity Module Course of International Exhibition Planning and Marketing Courses 
(4) Lead students to off-campus business visits - through shaping and implementing cultural creativity in the cultural and creative industries 
(5) Integrate professional courses in technology, design, planning, marketing, and digital fields through industry-academic collaboration to implement practical skills.

 

"English Creative Teaching" Learning Module 

The thoughts and layout of the course design are briefly described as follows: 
(1) Formulate compulsory and elective core courses based on core competencies 
(2) Guide students to obtain various teaching and TKT certifications 
(3) Encourage students to take courses in teaching and teacher training. 
(4) Lead students to off-campus business visits - through shaping and implementing the English creative teaching industry.  
(5) Integrate technology, teaching, design, digital, and other professional courses through practical industry-academic collaboration. 

In the past two years, our department has offered certified distinctive courses:
Oral Practice, Elementary Writing, Advanced Writing, Digital Learning, and Knowledge Management.
